If you’re planning on selling your home at some point down the road, at what point do you get an agent involved?

The answer is: As soon as you think it’s time. The reason for this is there are a lot of little things we can recommend that you do that can have a tremendous impact on what your home will eventually sell for.

One of the biggest hazards we experience is people calling us one day before they need to have their house on the market. At that point, there’s no longer time to do those projects affordably and easily. If we have time to give our advice and help you get those projects done, it will make your life easier and you’ll be able to sell your house for more money.

We can also consult with you about how to stage your home, which is another factor that can have a huge impact on what your home will sell for.

Lastly, we can talk about timing. Not all times of the year are the same. Some time periods are better than others, and we can advise you on when would be the best time to take advantage of market conditions and meet you and your family’s goals.
