Greg Michaels is a lifelong entrepreneur, real estate developer, and businessman with experience across telecommunications, clean energy, and real estate. He earned a Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California (USC) Marshall School of Business, completing its selective Entrepreneurship Program, while simultaneously competing on the USC Men’s Varsity Tennis Team. 

Over a 30-year career, Greg has bought, sold, and leased nearly $1 billion in real estate, spanning land, residential, commercial, and industrial assets. He has founded, acquired, and sold more than two dozen companies, employing thousands of people. In 1994 he founded what is now the Southern California Telephone Company. In 2014, he established an LNG company to develop an $8.3 billion natural gas liquefaction facility in Southwest Louisiana, including acquisition of a premier 246-acre industrial site. As Chairman and CEO, Greg is a published author, industry pioneer, and international speaker who has negotiated multibillion-dollar contracts with governments worldwide. Known for building strong teams, he is highly respected by his management and personnel. He believes success is achieved by helping people accomplish what they never thought possible. Greg is a devoted husband of over 30 years, father of three, and enjoys tennis, standup paddle surfing, and fishing.

Today, Greg has joined his daughter, Brooke, in forming “The Michaels Group”, a real estate team with the focus of serving coastal real estate clients in South Orange County. Having grown up in Laguna Beach, Brooke not only has a unique grasp on coastal Orange County real estate. Having been raised in the real estate business, she studied at Pepperdine University, while simultaneously training under the mentorship of “Million Dollar Listing LA’s” Madison Hildebrand. During this time, she worked intimately in the Southern California real estate industry and exemplified her diligent and persistent work-ethic in the fast-paced luxury market. 

Having now been in the real estate industry for nearly a decade, Brooke specializes in seven to eight-figure listings in coastal Orange County. Growing up in Laguna Beach, and owning her own home in Orange County, gives Brooke a personal grasp and local knowledge to find the home you are looking for. Brooke is a wife of five years, mother of two daughters, and competes in tennis.

As residents of Laguna Beach, California, where they have resided for nearly 20 years, Greg and Brooke have first-hand experience in the So Cal real estate market and are passionate about serving its residents. Additionally, the Michaels Group is excited to partner and work closely with their long-time and dear friends, Lisa and Goran Forss, who have created the number one real estate company in Customer Satisfaction in the state of California. With a successful history of negotiating multimillion-dollar real estate and business deals, Greg and Brooke are looking forward to leveraging their collective 40+ years of successful real estate experience to represent Orange County buyers and sellers, and negotiating the best deal possible on their next transactions.
